[Well, this wasn't an entirely unfamiliar situation.

Bobbi, subtly trying to make her way into a crowded compound, to recover her man from his mission. She'd been told to do it as cleanly as possible. And that was what she was trying to. She hadn't even packed explosives.

She just knew that she wanted him back, and, no matter what, she was bringing him home.]

[She'll be greeted by the sight of him deep in counsel with the attractive female baddie he's been sent to spy on and take out. He made the obvious choice for faux defector after the entire Loki incident, and he's well and truly fallen into the role.

After a few more words exchanged and a few nods, he heads back to the outer parts of the compound, bow draped carefully over his shoulder.]

[She watches him like a hawk as subtly as possible. She doesn't want anyone to know what she's up to.

Yet, at least.

In the meantime, she's going to chat up a guard. And by chat up, I mean she's going to get interrogated, because she isn't supposed to be here.]

[Once the guard's voice is heard to rise up above the normal volume, Clint snaps into action. Clambering up a fire escape, he seeks the source of the trouble...]

[And of course it's Bobbi, pretending she took a wrong turn somewhere.

She's got the confused tourist thing down, and she even has a map out, and is asking for directions. And hoping the guard doesn't recognize her face.]

[Even if the guard doesn't Clint will. And eventually he can see merely a woman in shadow, talking animatedly to the guard. Not suspicious at all.

He makes a low whistle, one that echoes around the area.]

[She can't help but turn toward the whistle, as do most people in the area, even though she knows exactly where it came from.

And then she's going to go right back to talking with the guard, who seems to think she has a familiar face.]

[There's the whistle again, this time higher, a warning.

Get out before he gets you out, Bobbi.

He carefully moves into position, glad he conveniently left the guns back in the meeting area. At least he knows where they are and who might have them. Instead, he pulls an arrow from his quiver and turns it between his fingers.]

Come on, Bobbi.

[It's murmured.]

[If he's looking carefully, he can see her shake her head after he whistles. Everything about the way she's standing, it's a signal. She's not leaving yet. There's work to do, and she's not one to leave a job unfinished.

[Then he has to take her out.

He cues a switch that opens up a communication line with the guards. They're going to be ordered to pull back into the building for a shift change.]

[Bobbi has a feeling she knows what's going to happen, since the guard is insisting that she isn't who she says she is, and she is who she really is.

She's just not even going to fight it anymore and punch him in the face.]
