Skip the air strip for the sunset; Ride the arrow to the target [for
vantagepoint]
It was all over and done. The world was saved, and everyone had gone their separate ways, riding off into the sunset for some well-deserved time off. The time off thing, in her case, came as an order from above. Fury had told her and Barton to take a vacation before they got back to work, and completely brushed off any of her protests about it. He'd stopped just short of packing a bag and shoving her out the door.
So, she arrived at Barton's apartment, bright and early, knowing he'd be awake, to ask if he had any ideas for what to do with their downtime, and knocked.

He hasn't made up his mind on how to feel about them. On one hand, everyone is rebuilding SHEILD after all of that chaos, and he's being benched. On the other hand, he can understand why many of those agent might not want to look at him for a few days.
Barefooted. Clint crosses the open room to answer the door. He doesn't have to say a word to welcome her in. She's always welcome, she should know that.

"So," she sighs, plopping herself down on his couch, and looking up at him. "Any ideas?"

"What do people usually do, the beach, a little fun in the sun." He's not adverse to the idea, especially if it means seeing her in a bikini.
His attempts at levity have fallen a little flat lately. Not that it stops him from pretending he's up to his usual standard. "There are too many places I would rather not see. What about you?"

Of course, taking the time to enjoy it would be the hard part.

Clint makes himself a drink, one with a lot of ice. He also makes something for her, but doesn't bother to ask what she wants.
"...or we could just stay in here for a week, sightseeing is a bit overrated."

“I like your last idea.” She barely, just barely, laughs as she says it. They could go anywhere in the world, but she would rather spend quality time with Clint Barton and his couch. It might even be better for the two of them to recover from, well, the end of the world in familiar settings and with only the two of them, rather than on a beach, surrounded by strangers.
